Organised by the Rainbow Film Society, this prestigious event showcased 253 films from 74 countries, including 71 films from Bangladesh, under the inspiring theme “Better Film, Better Audience, Better Society” .

The festival's opening ceremony was graced by esteemed guests, including Finance Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali, Chinese Ambassador Yao Wen, and renowned Indian actress Sharmila Tagore. Their presence underscored the festival's significance in promoting cultural exchange and cinematic excellence.
